More than just a Medical Centre!

When New Zealand Steel does something they do it right and have the same expectations of their suppliers. That's why when it came to building a 'state of the art' medical centre on site at Glenbrook they wanted to showcase their product and choose Frametek to manufacture and install the frames for the building.
Constructed from Galvanised Hi Tensile G550 0.75mm steel (ex New Zealand Steel) the centre covers a floor area of 380 sq metres.
Frametek manufactured and delivered the frames and authorised installer, Classic Steel Homes, completed the construction of the building.
About the Centre:
On average 800 plus people visit the Medical Centre each month for a variety of medical and health reasons which are impacting or have potential to impact on a person's fitness to work.
Treatment stations have been designed to minimise the movement of patients and protect privacy. Layout within the facility is designed to assist the nurses to move patients who require support with minimum effort and discomfort.
The waiting room is now in an enclosed area, which protects the privacy of those arriving in the reception area.
There is now a purpose built room with gym equipment for rehabilitation and supervised health programmes.
A training room has been established to enable attendees to enter the building and use amenities without accessing the "business end "of the centre.

The dream of having a 'state of the art' Health and Medical Services Centre on site has been fulfilled. The centre embraces the company's dedication to improving people's fitness to work by supporting both work related medical issues and general health and well being.
The new Health &Medical Services Centre was officially opened with a 'karakia' a prayer for the safety of our workforce and a moment of remembrance for those who have gone before us by Maori elder, Tewhare Turuwhenua.
To celebrate the opening, a commemorative plaque was blessed and presented to Health and Safety Manager Pauline Hutter by President, Bill Jacob following a brief speech explaining how the new centre was designed to also be a place that promotes general health and wellness programmes. Pauline Hutter cut the official ribbon, declaring the Centre 'open for business' and invited guests and employees to view the facility.
And the final word from the Nurses on what they think of their new facility.
"We are all thrilled with the new Health & Medical Services Centre. The thoughtful design ensures easy access, and is welcoming and comfortable. Most importantly it provides privacy a feature that was lacking in the old centre. The well-planned Emergency areas have already proved their worth in dealing with two difficult critical cases. "The feedback from patients is very positive."
"The light airy décor and clean environment makes coming to work a pleasure."
Thanks Frametek!
